Job Description

Bosch in Taiwan is developing surveillance products for the worldwide market. We are working in our local and global network with newest technologies to design AI ready products for the global market. For our team in Taipei, Zongshan district, we are looking for a Image engineering team leader.

• Coach and grow the team of image tuners and testers in Taipei. This team is responsible to:
• Conduct the image tuning, verification and specification definition for surveillance camera projects to achieve the business goals
• Align with Bosch cross-functional and external engineering teams on the requirements and performance improvements of product’s image tuning and features
• Build and maintain the image laboratory in Bosch Taipei for image tuning and testing
• Review the camera designs and key components, including lens, sensor and ISP, and estimated potential risks and solutions
• Establish, manage and improve the imaging development flows, and team database system
• Define the ways of working and cross-functional R&R
• Coordinate with key component vendors, manufacturing suppliers, in-house cross-functional teams in Taipei and Europe/USA project development
• Evaluate suppliers’ capabilities and develop business partnerships
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in developing and shipping digital camera products
• Strong background in image tuning development and camera engineering
• Familiar with the operational processes, resource management and schedule planning required to ensure the successful collaboration with ODM partners from the project kick-off to production phase
• Experience acting as a lead in the region in a similar role
• Exceptional people management and leadership skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, verbal and written
