Job Description

Bosch in Taiwan is developing surveillance products for the worldwide market. We are working in our local and global network with newest technologies to design AI ready products for the global market. For our team in Taipei, Zongshan district, we are looking for a Software Engineer (embedded Linux).

As a Software Development Leader You Will

• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Design, develop, integrate and test software for surveillance products
• Participate in technical project and code reviews
• Work in a cross-functional team environment comprised of software and hardware engineers, testers and product managers within Bosch and external partners
• Facilitate and assist in the task estimation process
• Participate in required engineering activities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and set requirements and expectations
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or technology-related field
• Prior experience in a technical leadership position
• Knowledge of embedded Linux on all levels incl. drivers
• Experience with Cross-Build-Processes, CMake etc. under Linux
• Ability to analyze and debug complex problems
• Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
• Verbal and written communication skills in English are essential
• Minimum 5 years of experience in demonstrated software development for embedded devices

• Familiar with code-analysis tools
• Knowledge of quality management processes for software development life cycle
