About the role

The Head of Product Lead has full ownership of our products and the buildout of our product team. The role will be tasked with creating a delightful experience for Buyers, starting from their first interactions with our unique marketplace, continuing to the checkout flow and all the way through the post-transaction journey. This role will work closely with all senior management across engineering, data and marketing to implement the company’s product strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Define and develop a product strategy: Owning vision and execution
  • Build out the Product organization and active hiring of those positions
  • Drive adoption and usage of our products
  • Using customer insights, stakeholder needs, competitive landscape, quantitative and qualitative data as inputs, establish and execute the global product strategy and roadmap for all aspects of the Buyer experience
  • Actively participate in scrums for product development
  • Prioritize features and product backlog: Prioritize feedback from users and stakeholders, bugs and business needs. Then collect and formulate product specifications, user requirements analysis, product specs
  • Build out the Product organization and be able to fill the roles until hiring of those positions
  • Have an eye for good people and the charisma to recruit them

What we are looking for

  • At least 6 years of experience in digital product management. If you have less experience, you could be considered as Associate Director of Product.
  • Display strong leadership, excellent communication, organizational and execution skills. Strong coordination skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Management: Clearly communicate the vision, plans, objectives and performance measures and progress against plans of your owned product to all stakeholders. Hold a variety of meetings to assure shared understanding. Examples are steering committee monthly meetings, ideation workshops, requirement alignment meetings, and user briefing/demo.
  • A good eye for good people to hire, and the ability to hire them.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex issues into simple reportable findings with practical recommendations
  • Also open to candidates in Singapore or Hong Kong
