Brand Demand Planner

Principal Objective:

The principal objective of the Demand Coordinator is to serve as owner and administrator of the monthly demand forecast for Wonderland Co’s own brands, working closely with the sales, product management, and supply-demand management teams.

Area of responsibilities:

Forecasting – 60%

• SKU level forecasting for GL business

• Communication, collection, and consolidation of forecasts from all parties – subsidiaries and sales teams.
• Monthly delivery of forecasts to Production Resources (factory) team.
• Ability to identify related data and/or forecasting logic issues and work with Technical Manager to fix them in a timely manner.

Item maintenance – 40%

• Ensuring that all changes to items are documented. Must maintain a master list of items from day 1.
• Working with Sales and Product teams to understand product changes, demand drivers, and apply demand forecasting knowledge to effectively incorporate into monthly forecasting process.
• Ensure that data in SAP and Atlas SCM software is up to date. Status changes, model number changes etc.
• Must have a good working knowledge of supply planning and inventory management.

Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or related field preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite (especially Excel) required
• 2+ years of experience in forecasting or demand planning in the manufacturing industry
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be a plus
• Highly organized and with great attention to detail

Others:

• Language requirements: Business English level
• Experience of working with a multi-national organization is a plus
