Job Description

Identify potential root causes and re-route to appropriate teams.

  • Communicate/Discuss with cross functional teams to triage the issues.
  • Troubleshoot application configuration, performance, videoplayback, and random crash issues across different Cobalt devices and platforms.
  • Leverage system and platform debugging/development tools and techniques such as gdb, logcat, valgrind, VSCode, Android Studio …etc to facilitate triage process.
  • Lead the issue triage process and be able to propose possible solutions.

    • Minimum requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
    • Ability to speak and write in Mandarin and English fluently and idiomatically.
    • Experience using the following programming languages: Java or C++.
    • Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, linux application development, networking, being open source project contributor, developing large software systems, embedded system/driver development.
    • Have at least 4 years experience working on Linux or Android.
