As a Motor Engineer for Motion Business Area in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, you will be in charge of providing Customer Supports on technical issues and assists communication to understand their technical expectation as well as frequent travel to the customer sites.

Your responsibilities

• Completing to project/service assignments and providing issue resolution with product and application knowledge and analytical skills according to engineering practices, principles, and procedures
• Performing testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities on site with hands-on skills and communicates with global team for field issue resolution when needed
• Reporting any contract/quality/technical/cost issues to management along with opinions on resolution
• Supporting Product Sales Managers in project status/issue reporting
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks
• Creating work plans and duration estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time
• Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with the team
• Ensuring that the work is executed according to Service Contract/Agreement, ABB - safety guidelines, local safety regulations and customer site safety requirement
  

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or etc.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience with service and similar automation product.
• Minimum 3:5 years’ experience in the Project Management is preferred
• Car driving license
