Job Description

• Ensure day-to-day accounting transactions reliability and accuracy booked in accordance with IFRS principles.
• Can independently manage AR/AP sub ledger and performs monthly reconciliation to general ledger. The accountant must be able explain/analyze discrepancies appeared in the account if any.
• VAT filing and withholding taxes is prepared and paid timely.
• Assets management, ensure calculations on new purchases (includes shared assets) and relevant depreciation is reflected accurately in financial reports.
• Manage treasury activities mainly in cash management including petty cash
• Support P&L analysis when required, such as support functions analysis, PL variance analysis, analysis by project family, etc.
• Support annual audits, responsible for ensuring documentation are available for audit upon request for each entities. Be able to determine the
• Support with other ad-hoc reporting as requested by management and/or other group companies.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Knowledge of ERP applications is necessary (Oracle is preferred)
• Can work independently on tasks assigned. Can analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Knowledge of local TW GAAP, IFRS, regulatory requirements/guidelines and Internal Controls
• Basic understanding of local taxation
• PC proficient and experienced users for Microsoft Excel and Word
• Verbal and written communication skills in English/Mandarin
