What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with ground breaking embedded computing technologies for the Tegra SoC and Jetson Embedded Platform

• Contribute broadly to advance the capabilities of the Jetson Developer Kit and developer experience for mobile and embedded computing; demonstrating your thorough understanding of Linux, from kernel through applications, packaging and distributions
• Optimize Power and Performance of Jetson embedded platforms
• Collaborate with a team of hardware, system and software engineers
  

What We Need To See

• Enrollment in a MS or PhD program with a focus in Engineering

• Software development experience with a significant focus on Linux
• Excellent C & python programming/debugging skills within Linux kernel and user space software
• System-level debugging experience and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Linux Power management framework is added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
  

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

• Experience in working with the Linux and open-source software communities (upstreaming)

• Background with power and performance optimization
• Knowledge of programming Power management ICs, voltage regulators, communication protocols such as I2C, SPI..etc
