(Senior) Scientist for Pharmacokinetics Bioanalysis

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and conduct method development of LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of novel small molecule compounds from animal plasma and tissue samples

• Conduct solid-phase and liquid extraction techniques for isolation of parent compound or metabolite(s) from biological matrices

• Understand and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS assay methods

• Analyze PK data with a software package such as Phoenix WinNonLin

• Review bio-analytic data and PK data to ensure appropriate quality control, interpretation and documentation author technical protocols, reports and SOPs, in English, of the bioanalytical methods and the analysis and interpretation pharmacokinetic data

• Manage multiple projects and deliverables and assign priorities

• Assist in the planning and management of resources and budget for bioanalytical lab

• Perform routine instrument maintenance

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ)

• Demonstrated hands-on leadership of a bioanalytical chemistry laboratory including analytical assay development for novel small molecule drugs and potential drug metabolites

• Demonstrated scientific knowledge of drug discovery, pharmacokinetics and DMPK/ADME

• Knowledge of SCIEX LC-MS/MS systems and MultiQuant Software

• Proficiency with troubleshooting bioanalytical assay methods such as drug isolation from biologic matrices, analytical and instrumentation problems

• Familiarity with the statistical analysis of regression of PK data with formal experience with analysis software such as Phoenix WinNonLin

• Demonstrated proficiency with lab management and leading a project team with time and quality deliverables

• Excellent written, spoken communication skills in English and Mandarin

• Proficiency in report writing
• Computer skills with microsoft office
