We are seeking a Senior Director, Head of Business Development for a leading Electronics design & manufacturing company based in Taipei, Taiwan.

This is a highly visible role within the organization, reporting to the CEO directly. Pre-Sale, BD experience within a large size of Electronics ODM/OEM is required.

Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred.

Major Responsibilities

• Increase company revenue by identifying and developing new business opportunities as well as expanding its presence.
• Be an integral part of the company that helps expand the global business and leads the effort to continually strategize roles and responsibilities of corporate Business Development team.
• Identify the needs of international customers (mostly US-based IT conglomerates) and translate those requirements into (potential) business leads
• Collaborate closely with the leadership/management team among different Business Units to support global/international business initiatives
• Building solid relationships with customers & sales marketing teams.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
  

Desired Profile

• 10+ years of business development and/or sales management experience within the ODM/OEM business sectors, with direct experience driving complex, cross-functional, and/or cross-company initiatives in electronics design & manufacturing industry
• Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
• MBA or similar advanced degree highly desired; a technical background in engineering is a plus
• Strong mobility. Able to conduct frequent travels (>50% of the time).
