We’re a highly innovative, fast-moving bike company going through a major growth spurt. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to take charge of VanMoof’s international growth strategy. You’ll manage the administration for certain foreign entities of the company, and strengthen the structure of our finances to support us as we rapidly expand.

Based in our production headquarters in Taiwan, you’ll report to the Finance Manager and work closely with the dynamic Accounting team. You’ll manage various entities across Taiwan and Japan, and work on several projects to further structure and automate our finance processes as we grow into 2021 and beyond.

We’ll expect you to take on a key position in the Accounting team. At VanMoof, finance is at the core of our company. As we rapidly expand our global footprint, your reporting will influence our business decisions. Our ideal candidate can critically engage with our current procedures, and is eager to make an impact.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll manage employees’ expense reimbursement, and analysis.
• You’ll reconcile transactions with the bank in a timely manner.
• You’ll control inventory levels by conducting periodic physical counts.
• You’ll participate in month-end closing and prepare timely monthly financial figures with specifications.
• You’ll support local audit and tax filings.
• You’ll maintain and manage our system data.
• You’ll investigate reporting, control improvement opportunities, and implement accordingly.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• You have at least five years of experience in CPA firms and in the finance field (including as an in-house corporate accountant).
• You have excellent data entry and MS Excel skills.
• You have operations experience in ERP systems.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You’re fluent in English and Mandarin.
• You currently live in Taiwan
• You have an eye for detail.
