Please note that DuPont has announced the intended divestiture of a majority of its M&M business to Celanese Corporation. This includes the Engineering Polymers business; Vamac® & Hytrel® product lines; Microcircuit & Component Materials; and DuPont Teijin Films. The transaction is expected to close around the end of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. At the time of closing, the candidate hired for this position is expected to become an employee of Celanese Corporation or its affiliate.

【job Description】

• Provides design and development support for new raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to support customer development requirements.
• Identifies, assesses and develops concepts and/or technologies to provide solutions to identified global challenges working with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manages scientific, technical, or information projects coordinating with other professionals and support personnel to accomplish objectives.
• Demonstrates functional excellence in the application of scientific methods and design of experiments. May be engaged to provide expertise to resolve difficult plant technical issues.
  

【required Qualifications】

• PhD or Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science and Engineering, or related fields.
• +3 years formulation experience working on the development of Advanced Packaging compositions, exceptional knowledge of sintered silver die attach, epoxy-based chemistries for die attach, die attach testing, and production experience with dispensing and die attach equipment. Experience working with OEM’s, Tier 1s, fabricators, and material suppliers (highly desirable).
• Be familiar with analytical equipment and data analysis (SEM/SAT/X-Ray, Thermal Analysis, etc.)
• Good knowledge in semiconductor and advanced packaging process.
• Good team work and proactive working attitude.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal and external communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Travel in Taiwan, A/P and the U.S. is required.
