Research Associate (RGA)

Job Description:

The Research Associate will exhibit a high degree of independence in the execution of a support role in the development and commercialization of slurry products for chemical-mechanical planarization applications.

• This role will be responsible for performing lab-based experiments, pilot plant experiments, product reliability tests, formulation experiments, fundamental wet-chemistry or instrument studies, and maintenance of the laboratory. Data collection, summarization, analysis, and reporting out to stake holders will be a key activity for this role.
• Communicates effectively, often, and in a candid and professional manner.
• Flexible, highly creative, innovative, and committed to continuous learning.
• Highly skilled in a broad scope of instrument instrumentation to be used in a wet lab environment to measure particles, slurries, and chemical compositions.
• Possesses theoretical and practical understanding, with moderate guidance, to be able to select the correct analysis technique and methodology.
• Effectively designs experiments if provided guidance in ambiguous situations.
