• 5 years of experience in managing warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
• Experience managing operations in multiple locations

• MBA, Master’s degree in a related field
• Project management certification or CSCMP
• Experience in quality control, inventory accuracy, safety, and security
• Experience in operations management, problem solving, and third-party logistics (3PL) vendors
• Ability to apply structured thinking and logic to your work and provide innovative solutions to challenges

The Server Operations team is responsible for monitoring the physical infrastructure behind Google’s search technology, Google apps, and Google Cloud.

As a Regional Program Manager, you will manage a team of Data Center Technicians, oversee the quality installation of server hardware and components, and take charge of complicated installations and troubleshooting. Your team will install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain server hardware and software.

You and your team will also take on the configuration of more complex components such as networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches, and networking protocols. You may lead small project teams on larger installations and develop project contingency plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3PL partners with associates on their teams dedicated to our account through account management, spend control, quarterly business reviews, metrics management, escalation management, etc.
• Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicators, vendor performance scorecards and develop business cases to support logistics changes and/or improvements.
• Create and manage significant annual services spend budgets.
• Drive alignment and prioritization of initiatives in a fast-paced and large-scale environment with many interdependencies.
• Create, lead, and support cross-functional company initiatives.
