R&D - Sr. Manager/Head of Translational Biology Department

The head of Translational Biology (TB) will oversee all translational study activities supporting OBI projects, including pre-clinical and clinical trial studies.

In this role, he/she will be responsible for:

1. Manage TB team to:

a、 Support all OBI clinical trials proceeding, including exploratory study design, subject pre-screening management, central lab management of sample collection, logistics, inventory management, sample analysis, and provide regulatory required documentation.

b、 Biomarker exploration, including potential predictive biomarker survey, detection method development, prevalence exploration, and result interpretation.

c、 Design and conduct pre-clinical studies supporting project development.

2. Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met when conducting clinical sample collection, analysis, and destruction.

3. Supervise TB team to manage Contract Research Organization (CRO) in executing translational study related services.

4. Coordinate external cooperative studies, including contract signing, review/approve study proposal, and result interpretation.

5. Supervise TB team to compile the study results for publication purposes.

• Ph.D. in Biology, Pharmacology, or Immunology related field is preferred.

• 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

• Extensive background in Biology/Immunology or relevant area.

• Familiar with clinical trial workflow is preferred.

• Demonstrated strong project and cross-functional team leadership, as well as people management.

• Fluent communication in Chinese and English.
