Overview

The Grain Commodity Procurement Project Manager is responsible for futures and options trading; must adhere to stringent business ethics and company policies; expand and maintain suppliers, and consumers network. The ability to communicate not only with the management but also lead the procurement team to implement the business strategic plans is a must for this position.

Major duties

• Purchase, for further processing or for resale, grain products.

• Monitor and analyze market trends, freight expenses, and foreign exchange rates.

• Arrange for transportation or storage of purchased products.

• Maintain records of business transactions and product inventories, reporting data to

companies or government agencies as necessary.

• Review orders to determine product types and quantities required to meet demand.

Key skills and qualities

• Bachelor’s degree and above in a field related to agriculture or trading.

• Knowledgeable in International trade. ( Include : import, container tracking and monitoring progress of the container delivery.)

• Seasoned professional in global commodities trading.

• 3+ years related grain purchase experiences is plus.

• Strong negotiate skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.

• Good with numbers and data analysis.

• Excellent problem solver.

• Ability to work within a budget.

• Keen interest in grain market trends.

• Fluent in English.
