JR10154 Program Manager

As Program Manager of Global Construction team, you will be an integral member of the Global Facilities Line Planning Group responsible for Micron construction projects primary leading and coordinating different activities to achieve the business goals, objectives, and business impact.

In this role, you manage projects, programs and will help to plan and prioritize resources needed to achieve results and assure accurate tracking of projects and programs to predict results and outcomes critical to success.

In this role you will be representing Global Construction team of your country. You will need to work closely with Micron’s internal stakeholders including Site Construction & Facilities, EHS, Procurement, Finance, Risk Management, Sustainability and Manufacturing Central Team, as well as external stakeholders including industry agencies and consultants to fulfill the position and group responsibilities.

Responsibilities And Tasks

• Drives accountability through clear communication, informal feedback, effective project / program management and appropriate usage of metrics.
• Prioritize and align Project/Program goals with counter-parts goals across the organization.
• Co-manage and lead new construction project planning process.
• Prepare new project Space, Cost & schedule report & long-term plan reports for management review.
• Collect, classify, evaluate layout and space management data/concepts and information used in new construction projects from ideas, concept design, detail design to actual construction.
• Collect, classify and evaluate Micron all sites’ layout and space management data to generate benchmark & reference for future Micron Construction Project.
• Serve as main communication liaison between GFTTs, Central Planning, IEs, Construction, Facilities Operations and relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment for scenarios being evaluated within the country.
• Collect, classify, evaluate data and information used in supporting the new Micron construction project planning evaluation requestion.
• Effective management of projects through all phases (initiate, plan, execute, close)
• Identify risks and execute mitigation plans
• Provide periodic department updates to review status and visibility towards performance
  
  

Successful Candidates Must Have The Following Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in problem solving, decision making and critical thinking capabilities
• Proven ability in project and/or program management, MS Project – building, managing, and tracking projects
• Self-motivated, diligent, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in Master planning & project planning is highly valued.
• Proven ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks concurrently and see them to conclusion on a given timeline
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other groups, internally and externally
• Proven ability to plan and prioritize goals and is results oriented
• Proven ability to multi-task and lead teams to meet ambitious deadlines and goals
  
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in Program / Project Management (preferred in both)
• Experience dealing with technical projects
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (desired)
