Purpose of the job

Grundfos Taiwan Production Plant is seeking an experienced Material Planner to join Supply Chain team in Miaoli Plant. The Material Planner will be responsible of supply planning and purchase activities, to support requirements and managing stocks according to the company’s policy and established objectives. Material planning following SIOP process. Customers service and deliveries follow up. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and will operate daily in Tongluo Township, Miaoli, Taiwan.

Key Accountabilities

• Purchasing orders handling and follow up
• Working with suppliers based on supply network planning.
• Send rolling 6 months forecast to suppliers
• Purchasing order handling and follow up- daily procedures supply planning Ver. 3.0.
• Manage planning data in relation to production and deal with issues in the relation to reception of goods. Quality and payment issue of suppliers
• Handling W/H’s Incoming Discrepancies Report (IDR) and write down solving activities then send to suppliers.
• Filling : Purchasing order confirmation , IDR(FRC), reports
• Control the stock quantity and stock turns based on the master plan, segmentation, lot size, and Reorder Point.
• Payment – Collect local and oversea invoice and delivery note to Fin. Dept.
• Update/create Material master (MM) in related fields.
• KPI analysis and take actions
• EDI error report updated: Maintain delivery date and iDoc solving .
• Charge air cost to customers per month
• Slow mover returning to suppliers
• Local consultant : OE target follow up, KPI review and process improvement.
• Other assignments conducted by the supervisor & manager
  
  

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge in ERP system (SAP MM module).
• Experience placing P.O and follow up purchasing process
• Analysis and control of inventory levels
• Basic knowledge of impo & expo
• Advance office and windows management.
• Fluent English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other related fields of study. Desirable to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in planning direct material in a manufacturing environment

• Understanding of purchasing -, material- and stock management and the connection to production planning (supply chain management).
• Strong mathematics skills and the uses practically.
• Knowledge on how to make process mapping.
