Description

Ring is seeking a Product Sustaining Manager, based in Taipei. As a Product Sustaining Manager, you will work closely with platform, hardware, firmware, operations, and quality assurance teams. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.

Responsibilities

• Engineering-oriented, with strong communication skills and experience with camera products.
• Manage critical issues and allocate time and resources accordingly for fast-moving product development and engineering change cycles.
• Engage with overseas teams on product concepts, ideas, and implementation while working closely with existing suppliers.
• Develop and manage hardware development project schedules with engineering teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with internal engineering, SCM, and OPM teams as well as external CMs to ensure that supply can meet demand.
• Collaborate with other teams to execute engineering changes and implement them in a timely manner.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience.
• Engineering background (Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
• Strong communication skills in English & Chinese.
• Self-driven, motivated, and willing to take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience managing IP camera/video related projects.
• Experience with consumer products.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing ODM, IOT, and IP camera, mobile, and video related projects.
