We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer with expertise in Chemical Engineering and/or Industrial Engineering to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Process Engineer will be to scale-up 3D printing for manufacturing and optimize the extrusion process. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, who have a strong background in materials science, industrial engineering, and experience in injection molding and polymer extrusion.

Responsibilities
- Optimize the extrusion process parameters to ensure high-quality and efficient production.
- Scale-up 3D printing from prototypes to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members in design and mechanical engineering to meet project objectives.
- Perform materials characterization, including mechanical, thermal, and chemical analysis, to evaluate material properties and performance.
- Conduct experiments and perform data analysis to identify process improvements and optimize material formulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, ensuring smooth and continuous production.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of procedures and quality.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in materials science, 3D printing technologies, and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of materials science principles, polymer chemistry, and chemical engineering.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. English is a must.
- Solid understanding of 3D printing technologies, including extrusion-based processes.
- Hands-on experience with injection molding and polymer extrusion processes.
- Proficiency in materials characterization techniques, such as mechanical testing, thermal analysis, and spectroscopy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize processes.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
