Operational Care Manager, Yield + Allocation

Your Role

In this role, You will be part of our Operational Care Team to add your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence. You are responsible for providing leadership + direction to the allocation + yield team in steering booking acceptances in line with the trade and country strategy + working closely with trade management to resolve allocation constraints. You will also be responsible for data quality levels within and impacting country + regional allocation tools along with the accurate assignment of service contract numbers.
Your Responsibilities

• To provide direction to booking teams on carrier selection in order to optimize yields. To support the customer promise though effective allocation management.
• To maintain + strengthen carrier relationships on operational levels.
• To support the teams by regular monitoring of the allocation compliance + yield development while leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve the function’s overall efficiency.
• To support in the development + improvement of processes and tools used in allocation management. To resolve allocation issues either directly with carriers or in collaboration with trade management.
• To actively support balancing NAC + FAK shipments under direction of trade management.
• To ensure our transport management systems contain high level + useable data quality.
  
  

Your Skills And Experiences

• To be considered, you must have at least 5 years of experience in seafreight. You are committed to deliver the corporation with the team, and at the same time, drive business development to achieve growth targets. Good communication skills in English and Mandarin is necessary for this role.Your experienced understanding of the market + carrier behavior along with your external + internal relationships will be key to your success.
