Interested in joining Apple to work on state-of-art OLED displays? Apple is looking for a OLED Device & Display Engineer who will be responsible for the development of new display technologies that will be used in outstanding Apple products. This individual will serve and a key point to enable innovative concepts and architectures for better display optical & electrical performance. Candidates with strong problem-solving skills combined with deep interest in displays will be preferred.

Key Qualifications

Hands-on experience and proven track of record in OLED device design, development, prototyping and technical investigation of OLED display technologies.
On record experience with OLED panel electrical/optical characterization and hands-on measurement tool setup
Good understanding of OLED device & display basic performance metrics and characterization
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with partners across multiple teams.
Capability of using a generic programming language (such as Matlab or Python) to solve practical problems.

Description

- Work with internal teams and external suppliers to characterize, model, and improve panel performance.
- Investigate advanced display technologies. Analyze the trade-offs between device stack design, process, optical performance, and implementation feasibility.
- Build up panel electrical/optical characterization with TFT driving logics
- Identify root cause for failure modes with structured approach and provide corrective actions or Design of Experiments (DoE) to internal teams and external partners.

Education & Experience

Normally requires Ph.D. or M.S. degree in EE, Physics, Optics, Material Science, plus a minimum 3 years experience

Additional Requirements

- Basic programming skills for Matlab/Python are preferred.
- OLED optical or electrical device simulation experience is a plus.
