Position Summary

Industrial gases have been at the heart of Air Liquide’s activity since its creation in 1902. Today, our employees and distribution network serve more than 3.8 million customers, from multinational corporations to independent craftsmen, in 85 countries.

Air Liquide Far Eastern is now looking for a Material Application Engineer who will be responsible for engaging electronics customer technically and drive related executions, including secure design win, understand customer’s technology roadmap, regularly update the competitor intelligence, and also collaborate with internal teams to address customer’s feedback.

Responsibilities

- Collect/Analyze customer intelligence and competitor intelligence, including tech roadmap, quality capability on a regular basis to update.

- Execute the tech marketing activities, including coordinating tech sharing forums at customer sites to strengthen brand awareness, new product introductions and build opportunity funnel.

- Initiate new material supply evaluation and gain customer’s approval.

- Drive tech activities with customers and provide analyses and tech feedback for validation of attributes to meet spec requirements.

- Provide direction to related cross-functional teams for testing and characterization, analyze technical data and own responsibility to prepare materials for customer communications.

- Align with internal account strategies and tactics.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge and network in the semiconductor industry

- 2+ year related experience in semiconductor

- Be able to communicate in English
