This role is embedded in one of the Technology Groups within our Global Operations Engineering team. Primary location for this position is our site in Taiwan. Options to work at our HQ in Switzerland or remote can be discussed. This is a paid student position to realize your Master or Bachelor thesis at SHL in collaboration with and under the academic supervision of your university.

Thesis projects are available in the following Production / Operations related areas:

· Factory planning, Logistics and Optimization

· Plant Simulation and Process Digitalization

· Polymer / Injection Molding Technology

· Automation Technology

· Packaging and Printing Technology

· Metal Forming Technology

· Production Quality and Compliance

You are

· Student in Engineering, Applied Sciences or other relevant discipline

· Independent thinker who is willing to discover new solutions off the beaten tracks

· Knowledge of common collaboration and productivity tools in MS O365

· Interest in solving problems related to Advanced High-Volume Production Technologies, Production Logistics, Process Improvement and Medical Manufacturing

· Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills in English (spoken/written)

· Diligent, reliable and target oriented team player
