Role Summary

This job holder will be responsible to produce and/or modify simple or complex parts. Operating various types of equipment such as: Lathes, Milling machine, Drilling machine, Vertical borer etc. The job holder will also need to be able to use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore gauges and other various gauges.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 years of job experience or university student at Mechanical Engineering or relevant majority
• Able to operate and perform machining job based on machining drawings given and as such, must be able to read technical and machining drawings.
• Able to operate various machine tools such as Lathes, Milling machine, Drilling machine etc.
• Able to use and read measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore gauges etc.
• Have passion to learn pump repair Skill.
• Able to speak both English and Chinese.
• Able to use MS Office, Outlook, AutoCaD, etc. PC software,
  

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Use the computer program “AutoCad” on mechanical drawing.
• To ensure pump repair are produced on time.
• Follow job leader instruction and being able to complete job on time.
• Able to work overtime due to urgent cases.
• To monitor, maintain and keep measuring instruments in their proper place and regularly calibrated.
• Ensure good housekeeping of work area.
• Regularly maintain machines at all time.
• Ensure tooling and fixtures are kept in the designated area after use (Clean and oil)
• Timely submittal of daily Time sheet.
• Inspect all in-coming parts either in raw material stage or completed / machined stage.
