General Profile

• An analytical mind and proficiency in IT systems, applications and infrastructure. Expected to have outstanding problem-solving skills, a meticulous attention to detail and knack at using large data sets to find opportunities for process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness and recommend courses of actions.

Key ResponsibilitiesData Analytics Capabilities

• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of internal controls.
• Assess the completeness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Use predictive modeling to optimize audit risk assessment and support agile audit.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.

Technical IT Expertise

• Execute audit programs in the specified project timeline with low complexity, risk and subjective judgment.
• Participates in audit planning for assigned scope areas, conducts process interviews and walkthroughs with the auditor, and documents key attributes. Strives to become an expert on scope areas, refines and enhances standards, assists other auditors during planning.
• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities, and recommend counteractive strategies to protect the system environment.
• Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures following established GIA/ISACA standards, utilizes the project RACI to meet audit objectives, and ensure work papers are complete and follow standard requirements for quality and re-performance.
• Establishes and improves audit methodology and templates, uses experience and understanding to suggest expanding or shrinking scope as necessary.
• Develop a strong understanding of integrated business and system processes. Communicate technical issues in simplified terms to relevant audit staffs.
• Identify audit issues within assigned scope, reviews methodology, evidence, and conclusions with Engagement Manager, utilizes standard issue write-up format and structure for report consolidation.
• Aligns and presents issues to all level of auditor management and CAE. May assist other auditors in closing issues.
• Conduct SOX testing and status the PMO on issues.
• Review, evaluate and test IT general controls, IT application-level controls, and system generated reports.

Functional Knowledge

• Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts and experience with applications.
• Fundamental understanding of IT audit methodologies.

Business Expertise

• Strong understanding of integrated business and system processes.
• Financial and IT application experience (SAP, GRC, CRM, WMS).

• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
