What We Offer

Major tasks:

• Maintain and implement Environment Protection and Firefighting management system to ensure compliance with Covestro rules and local regulations.
• Provide professional Environment Protection and Firefighting training for both of employees and contractors.
• Responsible for the planning and the implementation of annual drills of Emergency Response and firefighting.
• Responsible for the coordination and implemention of mutual-aid program for the transportation of chemicals.
• Support project team to get the relevant permits for the change of process and capacity.
• Fully investigate and report all accidents of leakage and environmental relevant to ensure the root cause is identified and preventative actions are implemented.
• Responsible for implementing and promoting 5S program.
• Responsible for EHS monthly performance report.
• Others tasks appointed by superior.

Work relations

Internal:

Each department is site, including P&T/ Quality Control department / R&D/ Procurement / IP, HSE group of internal Covestro

External partners / customers :

Local Environment Protection and Firefighting authorities

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or above with related HSEQ knowledge background
• At least 5 years related working experience in factory
• owns HSE relevant certificates, ex. 空氣污染防治專責人員, 廢水處理專責人員
• Good communication skill with field worker
• Good reading and writing English skills
• Familiar with ISO 14,001
