Job Description

EHS and Information protection:

· Live and promote "we never compromise on safety". Follow all environment, health and safety related precautions

· Business related information and documents should be protected against misuse or loss by appropriate Information protection measures

Compliance and Code of Conduct:

• Actively represent MBCC Group interests and act as a role model with regards to Compliance and Code of conduct, ensure adherence to legal regulations and the company’s internal guidelines as well CORE values and principles.

ORGANIZATIONAL:

Responsible to keep site Assets available for production from a technical standpoint.

Responsible for management of SLA for maintenance contracts.

Responsible for cost tracking, analysis, and optimization for maintenance budget.

Responsible for keep technical documentation updated and periodical inspections as well as statutory compliance.

Responsible to execute and maintain laid down maintenance strategies for the plant (i.e., risk-based maintenance, spare parts analysis, bad actor analysis, IMS & statutory compliance)

Responsible for set up the maintenance notification process and intervention need.

Responsible for reporting, tracking and analysis of technical KPIs for the plant.

Responsible for definition and set up procedures for “gatekeeping” for maintenance requests and improvement initiatives.

Responsible for the planning, execution and coordination of regular turnarounds and plant shutdowns.

Responsible for technical definition and execution of projects (MOC, CapEx…)

EHS AND SYSTEM COMPLIANCE.

Responsible for safety and health in his area.

Responsible for environmental compliance in his area.

Complies with the Quality, Safety and Environmental documentation for his area.

Ensures that maintenance works always meet the internal standards, EHS regulations and guidelines as well as statutory compliance.

Maintain engineering maintenance system as per requirement of IMS (Integrated managed system – ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and ISO 45000).

ASSET CARE

Prepare and keep Asset master updated as per P&ID and changes made time to time as per MoC process.

Ensure adherence to laid down guidelines of Asset care and maintenance management guidelines.

Maintain a schedule PM for all critical plant equipment and machinery and ensure execute of schedule/non-schedule maintenance of equipment and machinery.

Maintain engineering function to meet requirement of Process safety, Calibration, Asset Integrity and Testing, Statutory compliance.

Drive improvement initiatives to improve health of equipment and machinery to maximize availability.

Carry out RCA for all critical breakdowns as per guideline and complete corrective and preventive action to prevent recurrence. (MOS: MTTR & MTBF, OEE)

Maintain required inventory of critical spares as per defined guidelines and keep check on any shortfall to defined stock level and initiate on time procurement.

Keep track of AMC and ensure timely renewal of contract keep records updated.

Interdepartmental coordination for maintenance activities. Participate in weekly PM planning meeting with Plant Operations to schedule maintenance and other job planning.

PERSONNEL

Assess and supervise the task distribution among the maintenance personnel.

Suggest training according to the maintenance and engineering personnel needs.

Responsible for the communication to maintenance and engineering personnel in all the new process, changes (MOC).

Acts as an internal trainer/teacher for training of maintenance personnel.

OTHERS

Liaise with external and third parties’ contractors for customer site maintenance.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

Education: Education & training required

plus additional time-extensive job-related training including formal examination (e.g. PhD, BS - MS, MBA)

· BS- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Working Experience:

· 3-5 Years’ experience of maintenance management with hands-on experience in Preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and analysis, Critical spare management , Improvement management, with exposure to 5S, Kaizen, LSS etc will be an added advantage.

· Nature of industry - FMCG/ Chemical process plant (continuous/batch process)

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

· Preventive Maintenance

· Spare parts management

· Maintenance management systems

IT skills:

· MS-Office

· MS-Projects

· SAP/ SAP-PM or CMMS

Language skills (level):

· English (Fluent).

Mandarin Chinese (advantage)
