Summary

Seeking a Solution Management Director who can lead and manage Super Micro 5G/Telco Solution in Taiwan, response to RFQ and focus on the 5G/Telco in Asia/EMEA market. The person will help to review project design and specification, control project schedule, and communicate with customers in daily bases. This individual will have the capability to work together with cross-functional team to enable and develop application-optimized, competitive server chassis products and drive Super Micro total solution business.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Development of 5G/Telco business in Asia and EMEA market.
• Assist product manager to define and release planning, product design, and support of development activities, regulatory compliance, and management of product life cycle
• Solicit and collect new requirements needed for Supermicro solution products
• Work with other departments to ensure that the solution platform is being effectively leveraged throughout the product portfolio
• Assist product manager to coordinate cross-function teams for sustaining supports like RMA, Failure Analysis, ECO implementations
• Provide documentation and technical know-how to support product lines

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in engineering discipline is strongly desirable
• 10+ years of experience in Embedded/5G/Telco
• Product/Project development and management experience
• Strong knowledge of server system architecture, chassis, hardware and applications
• Demonstrated ability to manage from technical details to big picture
• Strong communication skills in speaking, writing, and presenting
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team
• Individual must be able to work effectively in a highly paced environment
• Bilingual (Mandarin and English) is preferred
