Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director of Taiwan with a dotted reporting relationship to Regional Director, People & Performance, APAC. The key mandate of this crucial position is to support the delivery of the enterprise plan through a well-managed Human Capital platform in Taiwan. This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, proactive and business minded HR generalist.
This is a pivotal role partnering with the Taiwan business to drive the quality, consistency and client-centric focus for pitch collateral and the process across all major service lines.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include…
- Implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business needs in Taiwan and regional directions.
- Proactively partner with Managing Director and Business Heads to drive operational success and performance.
- Streamline the performance management platform and drive for employee excellence.
- Act as an effective figurehead in employee relation matters to drive for a balanced workplace environment.
- Improve management guidelines by recommending necessary Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Partner with Finance team in processing monthly payroll across the Taiwan business
- Develop appropriate Learning & Development strategy for employees to drive productivity and engagement
- Develop and monitor annual budget for all Human Resources expenses and statutory subsidies.
- Regularly review and update employee handbook; drive the transformation of our HRIS systems used in the Taiwan business
- Partner with MarComm team to develop company and social engagement events
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a Human Resource Generalist in Taiwan
- A hands-on team leader with a solid track record in a MNC environment
- Solid work knowledge on a wide range of HR matters including performance management, recruitment, Taiwan employment laws and ordinance, employee relations, compensation practices, etc
- Experienced of working in sizeable (over 300+ employees) organizations with exposure to outsourced employee arrangements
