Solar Business Development Director (Taiwan)

Solar Business Development Director required to support delivery of large-scale Solar projects! Excellent opportunity in the Renewables Industry!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and expansion of the solar business in Taiwan.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the solar industry, including project development, partnerships, and acquisitions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, utilities, developers, and investors.
• Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and other relevant parties.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and policies in Taiwan to inform business decisions and identify market opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project development, including engineering, finance, legal, and operations.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential areas for growth.
• Prepare and present business plans, financial projections, and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, market share, and revenue targets, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Stay actively involved in industry associations, conferences, and events to enhance the company’s visibility and network.

Requirements:

• Proven solar business development experience
• 5 to 7 years of professional work experience in solar development
• Exhibit strong management, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication skills
• Existing network within the solar industry is highly desirable
