We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) Application Engineer to join our team. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist customers and RBU FAE in resolving product-related usage and technical issues.
2. Create documentation, including user manuals and technical guides, to facilitate proper installation and operation of AMR solutions.
3. Provide training to internal teams or customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AMR systems.
4. Assist in new product development and testing. Creation of application solution demonstration kits related to product functionality (Demo kit).
5. Assist PM in product promotion and demonstrations if needed. (Pre-Sale).
6. Serve as a subject matter expert on AMR technologies, capabilities and application.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, good to have ability to modify software code to enable efficient navigation, and task execution for AMRs.
8. Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and optimizing system performance remotely or on-site.
Qualification and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related filed. Master’s degree is a plus.
2. Experience with robotic systems, automation, or mobile robotics. AMR-specific experience is highly desirable.
3. Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Willingness to travel occasionally for customers site visits and project implementation.
5. Have a passion for staying up-to-date with advancements in robotics and automation technologies.
6. Have basic programming skills, familiar with Linux system.
7. Proficiency in conversational English.
