Job Summary:

As a hardware engineer in the system design team, you will work on hardware systems projects to craft the solutions for current and future data center deployments. Need to work with product teams to ensure that their goals are aligned with your design, and partner with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure proper verification of features in your systems, and ensure that your designs are manufacturable and ready for volume production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead in sub-system and mechanical design on data center system products.
• Bring up systems and execute engineering validation in the lab.
• Gather requirements, define high level architecture, execute hardware design and product validation.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, product, and deployment teams to productize designs and field support.
• Drive product from concept to production.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with enterprise class hardware systems design. Experience with data center engineering, server, storage and networking products.
• Experience with FPGA/CPLD Design and interface with other disciplines, including software, signal integrity, thermal and mechanical.
• Demonstrated expertise in solving complex system issues, technical innovation and drive technical roadmap.
• Methodical and organized. Collects and organizes details to reproduce results and explain what happened.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
