Minimum qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in Silicon development (Physical design, Design Verification, RTL Design, DFT, foundry process node methodology, etc.)
  • 5 years of experience in managing a team related to Silicon development
  • Experience in EDA workflow orchestration tools and dependency management

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in leading a team in the domain of Silicon Physical Design or Design Verification
  • Experience in advanced technology nodes and foundry design kits
  • Experience in EDA workflow orchestration tools such as FlowTracer, Lynx, Airflow, or Makefiles
  • Knowledge of chip design spectrum from RTL to GDS
  • Ability to communicate priorities to the leads globally, and guide the team to achieve goals with cross-site teams
  • Ability to coach team members and enhance leadership skills

As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world’s largest and most powerful computing infrastructure. You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing. Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of CAD managers, CAD engineers, and software engineers, owning the hiring process and fostering next level leadership
  • Work with worldwide Engineering Productivity teams to develop and improve workflows, tools, and features for both frontend and backend CAD workflows
  • Collaborate with implementation teams on features and priorities, continuously communicating progress, schedule, and priority
  • Own foundry kit data management, physical design signoff flows, and Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workflow orchestration tools
