Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the test strategy for products manufactured by external vendors, including test planning, test execution, and test result analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure that testing requirements are understood and met
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness, including automation, test data analysis, and test result reporting
• Manage a team of test engineers and managers, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to support their growth and success
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, ensuring that testing activities are aligned with their capabilities and resources
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that testing activities are aligned with business objectives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO, VDA, and other applicable standards
• Manage the budget for test engineering activities, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet business objectives
• Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline, including hiring and onboarding new team members as needed

Requirement

• Master degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in test engineering, with a focus on external manufacturing
• 5+ years of experience managing test engineering teams
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and vendor management
• Experience with test automation, data analysis, and reporting tools
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including ISO, VDA, and other applicable standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective test strategies
