Purpose of the JobThe trainer is responsible for the development of the Educational Program (Technical and Sales Training to Service Technicians and Technicians of our ASP`s) within defined Region of the Global Service Delivery . The Trainer should act as a coach and mentor to ensure the deployment of learning within her/his Area of responsibility. The Trainer is responsible for coordinating trainings within the regions. Work location is flexible, it could be in Miaoli, Taichung, or Taipei.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Deploy effective training programs
- Conduct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
- Coordinate seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.
- Deploy educational material such as module summaries, videos etc.
- Collaborate with management to identify company training needs.
- Follow Regional training budgets.
- Train and guide new employees (embedded in the onboarding procedure).
- Choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc)
- Conduct regional training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps by introducing Global Capability build up and assessment tool
- Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
- Maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
- Impressive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a teaching position.
- Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven work experience as a Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
- Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
- Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
- Experience with e-learning platforms
- Extrovert and communicative, relationship building comes naturally to you.
- Good communicator and empathetic.
- High drive and goal orientation. Determined to achieve high quality results. Customer and results oriented.
- Can deal with different cultures and stakeholders throughout the organization
- Open-minded but clear in her or his opinion
- High level of energy and t he ability to work in a demanding and ever-changing environment where respecting deadlines and budget limits are a key task.
