As a Taiwan country representative in the daily Supply Chain operation, reporting to Supply Chain Manager - Greater Asia and Japan, you are expected to supervise and coordinate End-2-End Supply Chain processes for Taiwan business – Plan demand and forecast, coordinate daily operations with the warehouse team and make required actions to fulfill customer demands. You will have an important role in all Supply Chain activities in Taiwan. Our dedicated wish to claim leadership in Taiwan market you will join a growing environment with a good growth potential.

Responsibilities

Taiwan Supply Chain project lead - End-2-End project, and other project planning/execution:
  • Take a good lead to deploy the global process and requirements into Taiwan business, defined in End-2-End project. Be the primary contact from internal Vestas team and from external parties - Data collection and analysis for demand/consumption forecast are daily norm, and you are required to maintain the latest and quality data in the system.
  • Coordinate to initiate and implement new projects to build new processes and improve the current process. Define As-is and To-be processes in the initial phase, and document project charters upon agreement with the Supply Chain Stakeholders. Scope of projects are varied (i.e. Operational PQVC improvement, Customer satisfaction).
Taiwan operational coordination - Custom clearance, warehouse operation and domestic distribution:
  • Coordinate Spare parts procurement and warehouse operation (storage and in/outbound) in most effective manner. Ensure that operations are operating effectively, effectively and lean.
  • Lead to install Continuous Improvement culture in the operation. Develop and facilitate “Safety First” culture. Implement Safety walk regularly, and upload execution result into the system.
  • Develop annual warehouse operation budget to meet Vestas Taiwan’s forecasted growth. Budget control/cost down for warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Coordinate inventory reporting and physical Stocktaking process.
  • Daily administration tasks (i.e. PO initiation, Invoice handling)
Act as “Partner” – Focused customer support for Spare parts order (Front desk function):
  • Being “Partner for customers”, which provide appropriate consultation service, for your customers’ right decision-making.
  • Supervise/coordinate operational execution and all activities made between Supply Chain functions, located in Denmark and India, and customers. The single point of contact for Service Sales, Service and Construction with regards to all Spare parts sourcing (Incl. direct time and availability and order verification).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, major in Logistics, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 -10 years’ experience in Supply Chain operation coordinate, including daily operation coordination (inbound, storage and outbound), front desk function (Customer service), and coordination for custom clearance process, particular in B2B industrial materials.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as the project leader in the operation level. Good interest in Supply Chain project management is essential. Six Sigma Yellow/Green belt or equivalent qualification is advantage.
  • Advance skill for MS Office. Experience using SAP will be plus.
  • Microsoft Excel macro and other data base knowledge and execution are not mandatory, but advantage in the selection.
  • Native Taiwanese language is not mandatory requirements, but you are required to have good commitment, learning Taiwanese as the daily business language.
  • Advance business level oral and written communication skills in English. Additional language capability (i.e. Thai) is plus.

Ability to communicate effectively with senior levels of the organization, especially senior managers and other key decisions makers.
