Job Overview
Lead RFP/RFI development processes and timelines to support an efficient, high quality and timely proposal submission and scope change process.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage RFP/RFI proposal submission process and timelines to exceed customer expectations and facilitate an efficient, high quality, and timely submission.
- Facilitate development of RFP/RFI content including budgets and strategic text in response to sponsor RFP requests.
- Develop draft budgets and texts based on strategic RFP/RFI parameters.
- Review budgets and texts with operational lead assigned to the RFP and prepare/analyze proposed budget metrics.
- Work with operational lead and Vendor Management Team to obtain third party vendor budgets as necessary.
- Schedule and participate in strategy calls and budget review calls in accordance with submission timelines.
- Submit proposal package within timelines requested by sponsor.
- Develop third party contracts, full service contractual agreements inclusive of change in scope budgets and supporting legal documents
- Prepare scope change budgets and variance analysis in accordance with instructions from Project Managers and Project Analysts.
- Coordinate budget and contract revisions with Operations Directors, Project Manager, DBD, Project Analyst and third party vendors as needed. Assist Project Managers and DBDs with scope change review with sponsors as needed.
No supervisory responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree: Life Sciences, Business, or similar preferred degree
- Experience
- 1 - 3 years of proposal development experience, preferably in a CRO or healthcare industry environment.

- Capabilities
- Excellent Technology Skills: Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Word. Able to create spreadsheets using complex formulas. Able to link data and spreadsheets. Ability to interpret and understand macros a plus. Navigate MS Excel, customize Excel driven formulas and trace dependencies, format Word documents and utilize Adobe PDF for submission finalization
- Proof-reading and Analytical Skills: Consistently produces complete and accurate spreadsheets and budgets. Proactively checks work and easily identifies and corrects errors. Consistently provides thorough and detailed review and feedback.
- Able to work at a computer for more than 6 hours in the day.
