Battery storage market is booming in Taiwan and APAC region. NHOA is positioning to become a leader in the market. In line with the ambition corporate growth target, NHOA has currently in execution different large-scale battery energy projects in Taiwan and China for a total capacity greater than 500MWh. As Project Manager Associate you will be report to the Project Manager and you will actively drive, as part of the Global Project Delivery team, NHOA project delivery across ASIA region with key focus in Taiwan and China. We seek a person passionately committed to a sustainable energy future who will actively support delivery of a large-scale battery energy storage project.
The Project Manager Associate will be based in NHOA’s Taipei office and available to travel to project site based on project needs.
As Project Manager Associate you will be report to the Project Manager and you will support in the following tasks:
- Serve as point-of-contact for the Client during the project execution.
- Ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget quality and project specifications;
- Prepare, update and report project management plan, cost budget, project schedule, project receivables and contract completion milestones. Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required.
- Manage contract requirements, risks and issues, anddevelop risk response strategy and plans as required.
- Lead and steer project engineering, purchasing, logistics and subcontracting activities.
- Participate in customer meetings and negotiations. Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Apply Project Management best practices.
- Site management.
- Day to day management of the project and the project team;
- Coordination and direction for all contract preparations and issues
- Manage the suppliers, the General Contractor and key project stakeholders;
- Promote safety awareness and safe performance among all team members and commit to the overall responsibility for Safety, Health and Environment compliance to the Contract.
- Implementation of the QHSE program to ensure all work is in compliance with the Contract, applicable law and highest safety standard
- Manage the permitting (application for permits and licenses, etc…) and the construction of the Project
- Planning the projects in detail and defining the development plan of the orders, coordinating the assigned human resources;
Your Background:
- New graduate engineers or 1-3 - 5 years’ experience in energy, construction or O&G sector. We favour experienced profiles with previous experiences in renewables (experience in energy storage system will be view favourably)
- Chinese full professional proficiency (Native / Bilingual Proficiency), English full professional proficiency. Italian will be a plus.
- Ability to problem solve both personnel issues and project issues
- Good record keeping and organizational skills
- Self-starter with excellent presentation skills with constant attention to details.
- Self-disciplined and result-oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Legal and financial basic knowledges
- Local networks and government relationship management skills
