Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO APAC > TS/PQ, Offshore Taiwan

Taiwan Off shore blades, Process Engineering department primarily works in the area between design and production, ensuring safe launch of new products, improvement or changes in the existing product. Updation of BOM to the design intent. CN verification and implementation. Support for new material testing, FFF activities. Furthermore, we are also ensuring that engineering change management (ECM) is done in a safe, high-quality way to ensure our continuous ability to operate by reviewing and interacting with the design changes being brought forward.

Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert in blade manufacturing process, shell area preferred.
  • Responsible for technical solutions review (design and systemic approach) of change notifications before implementation.
  • Collaboration with NPI team on the activities and tasks to be delivered for new product introduction projects
  • ECR/ECM - process flow knowledge.
  • Development of production setup and documentation including process flow, component allocation layout, and work instructions
  • Engage in PFMEA activities
  • Specify special tooling and test equipment needed for production.
  • Support the serial production regarding nonconformities, technical questions, automation and maturing the blade manufacturing process.
  • BOM correction and up-dation.
  • Process improvements
  • Clarifying design and interface requirements with all relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Engineer with 3-8 years of experience, in Wind Turbine Blade manufacturing.

Competencies

  • Engineering software knowledge
  • Understanding of engineering drawings
  • Global exposure preferred.
  • Working experience in SAP
  • Knowledge on Structural blade manufacturing processes
  • Have good methodical skills and pay attention to details.
  • Team working skills
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Have a high level of safety and quality awareness
