Summary

The School District of Borough of Morrisville is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Mid-Shift Lead Custodian position. A Lead Custodian is responsible for leading and coordinating the work of Custodian positions in cleaning the inside of buildings and other facilities, performing minor maintenance and moving furniture and office equipment; ensures that assigned duties are completed on schedule and are done well within the area assigned; schedules project work and work order requests; responsible for supply needs of the area assigned; responsible for inventory control of all supplies and equipment; perform as a Custodian; does related work as required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
  

Desired Qualifications

• Supervisory training or experience
• -Ability to train staff in CustodialMaintenance operations
• -Ability to plan, schedule and keep accurate records of custodial operations
  

Clearances And Other Requirements

• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)

Background employment clearances and the following additional paperwok must be completed within the last year to be valid: Arrest/Conviction Report (Act 24), PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), and School Health Record which includes physical (within a year) and TB test (within 3 months).

Salary

Per Agreement between Morrisville Board of School Directors and Morrisville Educational Support Personnel Association.
