Summary

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all academic ranks and in all related areas of computer science. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree, a strong commitment to excellent research and teaching, and outstanding research records or potential. The department offers BS/MS/Ph.D. programs and provides an excellent research and teaching environment.

Role Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant/Associate/Full Professor for an on-site role located in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake research and teaching in their specialist areas, participate in committees, supervise projects, and contribute to the development of the University.

Date of Appointment: August 1, 2024

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields/disciplines
• Outstanding achievements in scholarship and research
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching within relevant areas of expertise
• Ability to effectively contribute to the academic development, management, and administration of the University

• Ph.D. diploma*
• Transcript for the highest degree*
• Teacher qualification certificate (if any)
• Ph.D. dissertation
• Two recommendation letters
• Other supporting materials (awards, patents, …, etc.)

*International academic records, including the diploma and the transcript, should be certified by the Republic of China embassy, consulate, or mission.
