#BCCTaipei is looking for a Member Relations Manager to join its fantastic team!

This position is responsible (and accountable) for the planning and running of successful events, and their role in the satisfaction of Chamber members. This role also has responsibility for support of Chamber initiatives and programmes, suiting a detail-oriented individual with 6-10 years related experience, a keen interest in events management, devoted to customer satisfaction, with excellent team-working ability, a methodical approach and strong business and governmental contacts in the community.

The Member Relations Manager will have responsibility for all day-to-day functions in relation to the delivery of the Events Calendar and will provide significant input into the planning process in relation to the continuous development of the Events Programme. He/She will be involved from conception to delivery of the Events Programme, which will require liaison with management and external suppliers. A key function of this role will be to develop and promote sponsorship packages in partnership with the Business Development Manager, and to provide guidance and support to other team members.

Personal Attributes and Key Skills:

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • A self-starter with independent judgement and work planning, also able to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to work on own initiative and operate under time pressure
  • Strong commercial awareness, including experience of business development, marketing and pricing, and customer relations
  • Emotional intelligence and an aptitude for developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
  • Strong qualitative research and analysis skills
  • Ability to create workflows and procedures according to company agendas.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism required.
  • An established business network of Taiwanese and international professionals and government contacts.
  • Knowledge of databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and use of Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs) essential.
