The incumbent will be responsible for leading or participating in internal audit assignments (operational & J-SOX), assessment of internal controls adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of process and risk management/compliance (J-SOX assignments).

Job Summary

S/he is expected to perform all audit assignments in accordance with IPPF standards as defined in the Regional Audit Manual; providing detailed, insightful and relevant recommendations to improve internal controls and mitigate risks across operational and financial processes.

S/he will provide advisory to the management team on implementations of recommendations with regular results tracking. Be involved in special audit assignments and ad-hoc activities of varying nature when required.

Operational audits:

• Lead and manage operational audit assignments including planning, communication with auditees, audit programs development, work assignments execution, audit report preparation for Management Team.
• Conduct follow-up assessments and audits as required and ensure prior recommendations have been implemented.
• Provide advisory on implementations of audit recommendations and providing templates/policies from legitimate source.
• Proactively support the continuous improvement process and provide suggestion on improvement on audit efficiency and quality.

J-SOX Audits:

• Lead and manage J-SOX audit assignments including affirming the adequacy and strength of all relevant J-SOX activities.
• Conduct follow-up assessments and audits and successful implementations of prior recommendations.

Other Ad hoc Assignments:

• Participate in other ad hoc studies, projects and other special assignment if requested.
