Job Description And Qualifications

Purpose

• This position is responsible to ensure the safe operation of all vehicles, prevent operational disruption, track the vehicle defects and formulate solutions to rectify technical problems.
• The maintenance Technician is responsible for management SAP PM work, troubleshooting, emergency shutdown, repair, installation, modification and improvement activities of vehicle equipment, including administration and field supervision.

• This position is to distribute and establish safety first culture and lead the team to be an outstanding team with high efficiency and low cost for fleet management.
  

Assignment And Review Of Work

• Complete and correct concept to lead team to align to AP’s safety culture.
• Complete vehicle equipment repairs to meet scheduling and customer delivery requirements.
• Stable and flexible attitude and skill to communicate with internal and external AP and contractors’
  

vehicles manufacturer.

• Positive mindset to deal with challenges that come from internal and external ways
  

Decision-making Authority

• Daily operation:
• To perform regular checks and preventive maintenance programs, and plan solution in advance.
• To identify potential hazard, and decide if stopping operation to avoid risk.
• To manage the preparation of vehicle spare parts.
• Decisions which are necessary to get approval:
• Adjust and purchase new vehicle and equipment.
• Apply for eMOC application.
  

Contact With Others

• Regular contact is made with AP and contractors’ vehicles managers, transportation cost and CI project.
• Contact with fleet maintenance team in teams of vehicle maintenance
  

Scope

Area: Taiwan PG sites which include Shicheng (Taoyuan), Chupei, Taichung and Tainan PG plant.

Drivers: LB+MB 40 drivers

Vehicles: 1 tractor + 1 Chassis and 35 trucks

Principal Accountabilities

• Comply with all AP safety standards and requirements, and local regulations.
• Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance programs FM02 work orders for all the vehicles, based on the timeline & frequency as listed in SAP and ISO requirements.
• Execute or support unplanned maintenance FM01 work orders / activities all the vehicles.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by Distribution Supervisor and Manager.
• Act as a team member to provide CI ideas and get engaged in productivity improvement projects.
• Work as a team with scheduler & supervisors to perform trouble-shooting & repair to shorten vehicle downtime.
• Coordinate the contract-out maintenance work and ensure the completion date meets reliability & business requirements, including tractors, trucks, lifting crane, etc.
• Record movement of spare parts & other materials, maintain safety stock level, and replenish as appropriate.
• Complete required SAP transactions on a timely manner in carrying out maintenance work orders.
• Ensure good housekeeping for the garage and maintain good / safe work practices / operations in the garage.
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably relevant Vocational Trade Certificate on vehicle maintenance with minimum 3 years of vehicle maintenance experience.
• Preferred with truck driving license.
• Cryogenic knowledge desirable.
• Computer literate.
