We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Sales Manager focused on Footwear and Industrial Markets.

How you can contribute:

  • Develop and execute a Footwear and Industrial strategy to grow our existing base of customers.
  • Leverage Bemis world global coverage and connections to your advantage.
  • Uncover business opportunities by identifying prospects, evaluating their position in the industry and researching/analyzing their unique business issues and problems.
  • Establish contact with key decision makers, develop relationships, understand their problems, and close sales opportunities through value-based solutions for long term viability.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new solutions; recommending profit and service improvements. Coordinate support to their factories via Bemis global presence in Asia.
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Develop a comprehensive and accountable customer sales-plan each year with input from your global teammates.
  • Prepare various internal reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Work with functional team members in customer service, manufacturing, and supply chain to insure effective service, production, stocking and delivery.
  • Coordinate application & technical service between customer and Bemis regional offices.
  • Utilize Customer Management Software to track customer information, manage sales pipeline opportunities, and provide visibility to the rest of organization.
  • Identify, communicate and address unique cultural issues from a business perspective to ensure Bemis is mindful of ‘local’ practices.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to stay current on trends and generate new business leads.

What you need:

  • Holder of BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Over 5 years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of over achievement in footwear market.
  • Experience in working partnership with Taiwan based leading footwear manufacturers.
  • Familiar with footwear brand L/O office in Taiwan.
  • Technical driven with adhesive background and application is a plus.
  • Sales acumen: excellent qualification, negotiation, prioritization, time-management, and organization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Oral and written fluency in Mandarin and English. Korean is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% inside Taiwan and possibly internationally.
