Job Description

• Work closely with US team and local team on 3D sensing laser and sensor package development for consumer and automotive applications.
• Work with R&D team for test platform development through concept proof, prototype, characterization and qualification for volume production
• Collaborate with equipment and contract manufacturers to develop automated test platform, with emphasis on module optical performance.
• Communicate with Lumentum cross-functional teams and contract manufacturers to improve execution of: testing capability study, prototype builds, device performance validation, production ramp, reliability demonstration and qualification.

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or other relevant major. Fresh PhD graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of optoelectronics and microelectronics physics, validation, testing development, including wafer level testing, chip testing, module testing.
• 2+ yrs hands on experience in high volume production, familiar with Gage R&R and process capability analysis
• Experience with statistical data analysis tools (such as Excel, JMP, Minitab)
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Able to travel to and work with overseas CM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with VCSEL device and application
• Experience with opto-electronic device characterization, such as VCSEL or EEL, with high UPH production is welcomed.
• Mass production experience in mobile phone camera module evaluation is a plus.
• Experience with automotive components manufacturing and qualification is a plus.
