The HR Director oversees all HR functions including recruitment, employment contracts, employee orientation, compensation & benefits, payroll administration, support staff professional development, employee evaluation, employee relations and HR policies.The detail JD can be reviewed at the section of ABOUT US/CAREERS on the TAS website. • University graduate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other relevant education
• 10+ years of experience leading an HR Function with an expatriate work force, preferably in an educational setting
• Proven leadership and a successful experience with managing a complex HR Department for an organization of 500+ employees
• Understanding of the unique needs of an international school environment, and how that environment impacts HR practice
• Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, and preferably in Mandarin as well
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, a passion for service
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
• Computer literate
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to collaborate well with other employees and departments and be able to interact with a diverse, wide-ranging group of supervisors and employees
