Job SummaryThis position is responsible to handle part of general ledger, billings, account receivable collection, costing accounting, financial, management and tax reporting. Also involves in statutory compliance matters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for the financial and management reporting of Avantor Taiwan in accordance to US GAAP. Responsible for the tax reporting of Avantor Taiwan in accordance to local tax and US GAAP. Responsible for actual tracking of the PL data. Responsible and accountable for the recording and management of inventory. Liaise with relevant authorities or agencies including auditors, internal/external counsels, corporate secretarial, and others ensuring compliance with local and corporate regulations. Review capital project request packages and monitor the approval process. Special projects as needed. Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

Degree in Accounting/Finance

Experience:

Accounting, Costing and Financial reporting, preferably with Multi National Companies – at least 3 years experience.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in accounting software.

Skills/Competencies:

Strong analytical thinking, creative problem solving skill, excellent interpersonal skill and a team player.

Other Skills:

Good oral and written communication skills in English.
