Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of relevant industry experience, with 5 years of technical leadership or people management.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, or using networking protocols.
  • Experience in deploying on-device Machine Learning models and building products running on RTOS.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing software projects from planning to landing/maintenance.
  • Experience in one or more general purpose programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Rust or Go.
  • Knowledge of the networking stack/performance and drivers of embedded systems.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Software Engineers/Firmware Engineers to design/implement/fine-tune the machine learning models to improve Pixel connectivity experience.
  • Develop and grow talents through hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers.
  • Partner and collaborate with peer Engineering teams, product management, to launch high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
  • Drive technical projects and provide solid networking mentorship to inspire team to innovate, design, and implement advanced connectivity features with high quality.
